Project Background:

The Nuffield Hospital in Derby urgently needed to expand to meet demand whilst at the same time raising standards to comply with rigorous new health and infection control standards.  Acting as part of a large, multi-disciplined team, Hope Studios were asked to develop a new bedroom wing with co-ordinating corridors, patient lounge area, treatment and surgical areas and create an external courtyard.

Project Solution:

Hope Studios used specialist furnishings and equipment that were easily maintained whilst being attractive and appealing to patients. A basic colour theme of natural greens, creams and soft blues created a warm and relaxing environment. The centrally located external courtyard created a natural area for patients and staff to look out on to as well as sit and relax in.
